Unfortunately I have been a victim of malfeasance and fraud …. people in pain need drugs! $5,000 for $15.00 worth of cortisone shots is outrageous.

Why do doctors not care enough to prescribe the proper pain medications in order to give their chronic pain patients sufficient relief?

Why do the doctors (and nurses) show no care or understanding for people in extreme chronic pain! I do not understand this war on chronic pain sufferers and why is the government constantly trying to curb proper treatment in order to help people in pain live a good a life as someone who does not have to deal with this constant fight to maintain relief of pain in order to enjoy life like them!

We did not ask to be in this so called pain club but we must deal with it or commit suicide. Because living life with pain and constantly fighting society to allow us to enjoy life makes you think what choice do I have any more! What did we do to deserve such treatment that the government will not allow us (chronic pain sufferers) to enjoy life like them and the doctors are going right along with it! Nobody seems to have enough courage or back bone to stand up for us! Why do we have to fight all the time to enjoy life without being accused of being criminals, drug addicts, drug seekers and what ever else they want to call us!

Is not the part of The Hippocratic Oath? – “I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.” … This means to reduce human suffering!

Treat others as you would want to be treated – this is what should be done. God help the cold hearted doctors and nurses whom derive pleasure from other people’s pain … as they chat about what they ate at TGIF’s this past weekend!!! May the wrath of the forgotten be with them.
